an Australian children’s picture book author from rural Victoria.

I create gentle, reassuring books, helping children feel brave during medical experiences.

Living with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1), I’ve spent a great deal of my life in hospitals, having scans, tests, surgeries and appointments.

I know firsthand how overwhelming these experiences can feel for children, a huge reason why I have begun my ‘Magic Medical Series.’

Illustrated children’s books written in a way that explains aspects of the medical world in a friendly, comforting, and age-appropriate way.

My hope is that every child, caregiver, or person who reads my books feels a little less frightened, a little more prepared, and knows that no matter what, they aren’t alone.

Its playful message and rhythmic writing keep the tone light and reassuring, making it an enjoyable read aloud. 'The day I met the Magic Printer' was created with medical sensitivity and emotional awareness, making this book ideal and meaningful for children facing repeated scans due to chronic or neurological conditions, though it is equally suitable for any child needing an MRI for the first time.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me losing myself in a good book, with a warm mug of coffee in my hand, or learning new, fun facts, losing myself in the little things that make up this world.
